It may not be a popular viewpoint, but the Prophet makes a good point.
We're not winning this war with inadequate manpower and if conscription's what it'd take, it's what we ought to do. It's almost curious we've not had it before now. I'd rather see our men and women fighting with adequate numbers than fighting a losing fight.
I've every intention to sign up after school. My brother's a healer and my sister, despite her situation's, still as involved as she can be here at the home front. We're fighting a good fight, even if it puts off pro-Quidditch for a bit, don't you think?

I don't want to be a drag like some of the other people out there, but these dance things are frustrating. Fine enough on their own I guess, but it's stupid that we're expected to wait around to be asked to go when it's an open event. Have you lot got dates?

Alright. Hopefully no one was too battered after breakfast. Consider it a warm up.
Everyone seems to be doing their best, but keep your eyes out for any rogue equipment. I'd like us to have as full a set as possible for this evening's practice. Otherwise, we're working on precision. We don't have time to mess around. Ravenclaw's in a little over a week only five more times on the pitch until then. |
